Hi, my name is Martin rogers. I live at Waihi Beach, New Zealand.
I have been drawing on and off for about 45 years inspired by New Zealand artist Rei Hamon.
I started pointillism pictures while at high school. I drew few fiction pictures in my spare time. Kids and family stopped me for a while. I drew a couple of pictures when I was in rehab in hospital for a fracked neck while playing rugby. Then in 2005 I had a hip replacement that’s when I started drawing again in color. One picture over the winter month per year.
Living in a small town we are around new zealand … which inspire you to enjoy the scenery and activities.
I am full time plumber and tramping, hunting and fishing in my spare time with most of these activities at our door step. Mountains, rivers, lakes, oceans, tracks, huts, islands, these endless opportunities inspires me to draw.
